Tetra

I should probably introduce you to Tetra. Her name comes from the ancient Greek root form for "four". This is because she will become a symbol of my own going study of gender identity. So I would like to introduce her to you now as she transitions and experiences the world through this study of mine.

1. & 2. for the binary male and female gender.
3. for the inbetween.
4. for the other.

Tetra is a mannequin I found thrown away. This is a scan of Tetra. Possibly to understand the contrast between the digital and the physical medium and world. I figured I'd go all the way and just simply cram her face down onto the scanner bed and let it scan. She's quite large for a 8.5 x 11 scanner bed so I had to stitch her scans together. Additionally her head is broken so her spine doesn't quite line up. I guess this makes sense why someone threw her away in the first place what good is a broken mannequin? Anyways, I was wondering about who created this mannequin? Her image? Is it a projection of the creator? An image of what a woman looks like? Projection of someone else? Or just maybe factory settings? Or possibly are we supposed to project our own image onto "her" when we are shopping for clothes? Either way I just felt a connection and that she had this weird personality to her, especially after someone previously had spoiled her image by giving her some cosmetics to her face. She has this kinda of ghastly pale stare to her face.

P.S. Does she need a mature warning on her? I mean she is a mannequin but she is nude. I wonder what deviantART's policy on this is. Weird how someone might be offended by her plastic chest.
